Short blip of what my vette sounds like outside the car with the aftermarket stereo installed. Car has an Alpine 9813 headunit (in my opinion one the last true alpine headunits with the real green chicklet type of button/color) in factory location with matching leather trim instead of the normal black plastic installation kit. Front in each doors are old school MB Quart with 6.5″, 4″, and 1inch tweeter using a newer premium 3 way MB Quart crossover also mounted in each door (they are awesome crossovers). The rear has an MB Quart 5.25 coax mounted on a plate in the factory location in side rear. Sub is a JL Audio C5 Stealthbox, all powered by a JL Audio 500/5 amp. As you can see, I lost 0 hatch space and mounted the amp on the back wall of hatch with matching carpet on a panel its out of the way and gets plenty of ventilation. The amp is a monster, doesn’t even sweat at full volume for hours. If anybody is interested in detail pics of the installation send me a note and I’d be happy to forward them on, thanks for looking!!!
