Budget automotive (car) audio system $600 including install. What would you recommend to an audiophile?

I have a 2007 Accord 4dr. The stock sound system is complete trash. I am thinking I should replace the head unit first. I hope to get a 6 disk changer.

My main question is what would you recommend as good sounding for the money it has a 5.25 and a 6×9 slots and tweeter slots that would need modification for a tweeter mount.
I listen to very high quality stereo equipment at home and am looking for something that is passable in the car. I used to have a passat with the monsoon sound system that I would call passable.
Who makes great budget speakers I have heard about CDT and Clarion as great sounding companies?
I want something that could do well with classical and jazz as well as all other forms of music and sounds good at lower to just above moderate volumes.
