Confused about BMW E46 sound system?

Im soo confused!!! have a 2001 325ci and it has a HK sound system in it. driver side tweeter all the sudden started sounding really messy so decided to change it. what do i need and what size. I bought Infinity – 6-1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers Model: REF6020CS to replace the tweeter and the bottom speakers. but then i saw the video online on how to change it and they are talking about Mid Range and Mid Bass speakers. WHAT IS MID RANGE AND MID BASS? WHAT DO I REALLY NEED? AND WHAT SIZE??
