Figure in wiring harness and dash kit if you have a stock radio. If it’s a aftermarket already, you should have these things and don’t need to buy anything else.
This is how retailers make their money by selling you the necessary equipment you need to hook it up for higher than normal prices. The labor is free, but the parts make up for that in the end. If your willing to tackle it yourself, you could try crutchfield.com and get the parts for free with a better selection of radios.

best buy had the same crap
it was going to cost me $ 50 for the wiring harness and dash kit. i said screw it and went home.
we installed it within an hour. keep in mind, this is me and my dad who have never installed a stereo before
go to installdr.com
they have great color pics.
good luck
Wiring harness should be 10$ and dash kit another 10$ if you spend over 100$ you might as well get the free install but do as you please!
The kit and harness will probably cost $ 35 total. If you bought them yourself from autozone they will cost you 20-25, plus a few bucks for connectors. So thats about $ 10 for them to put it in correctly, with no hassle, and guaranteed work.
I worked at CC installing for years and we used to charge $ 45 in addition to parts. I think it’s a hell of a deal.
Circuit city charges a ridiculous amount for the installation parts. For your car it will be like $ 65 more for the parts. It is like $ 20 for the mounting kit plus another $ 20 for the wiring kit for your car. Then you will need another wiring harness for your radio that is about $ 5-10. Then they charge a $ 5 shop fee. After taxes I would say $ 165 or so.
Best buy or a local audio shop will have cheaper parts. You can either buy them there and go to circuit city to have them install it or you can have another shop do it for less. Just make sure you get a Metra wiring kit (meaning there is two wiring harnesses) or CC will charge you extra to put it in.
Good Luck!!!
I actually work with Circuit City and would recommend writing to the company at this email address: consumer_affairs@circuitcity.com. They are very responsive and would be happy to help you with your concern. Good luck!
