My New System

I know the audio/video sucks, but its all I have to work with. This is my 06′ Lexus IS350 with the Mark Levinson, navigation, and luxury package. I have a Boston SPG555 in the Boston ported enclosure and a Boston GT-28 amp mounted to the top of the trunk. The spg555 in 2 ohm and handles 1000 wrms, the GT-28 does 1350 wrms. It has dynamat extreme under my rear deck, 4 gauge wiring, and custom bass contol knobs. I’ve been really impressed with the setup so far, its not quite as loud as my 15’s were, but it sounds amazing and integrates well with my Mark Levinson system. More upgrades coming soon… Please comment!

This system took and entire 15-20 minutes to wire up, we didnt NOT think it would get this loud ! It devastates the lows, talking 24-38hz is just slams. Enjoy, please don’t hate on its ghettoness !! Cant wait to get the box built and the 18’s in with moar powa !!

i made a video before i went to work one day of my stereo system. THIS IS WITH ANTIBLUR ON! so don’t comment or message saying it’s a bad system; the reason most of the video is of the mirrors is in person, when the bass is on, you can’t see out of them *at all*, i just forgot to turn the antiblur off on my camera. alot of works gone into it and it’s still not done (it never will be) but it’s the first “stage”. currently installed: car- 97 monte carlo ls head unit – pioneer 4000ub amp – sony 1200 watt (i believe 2022) subs – sony 12″ 1300watt x2 (p5 series) speakers – in the vid i only have 4 speakers hooked up; the stock 5.25″ in the doors and 2 pioneer 6×9’s in the deck. right now i have another 2 pioneer set (the ones installed are 4ways the 2 i have left to install are 5 ways) and a set of kicker 5.25″ with 1″ tweeter.

In this video I had my front stage sound running off their own individual channel so the speakers can get worn in. Now that the speaker are worn in, I bridged the 4-channels into 2-channels. So, instead of 100 watts per channel, I am pushing 150 watts to each door speaker (front only). Soon, I will buy 4 more speakers and a JL HD600/4, because the G35 comes stock with 6 speakers. Right now I only have the 2 front speakers. When I am completely done, I will post a new video. On the first instance of discharge, its capacitance is down by approximately 63.2% from its supplied voltage, and its no longer any help at all to stabilizing the voltage of the audio system. What matters here is how long and how often the capacitor is called upon to stabilize the voltage of the audio system during this time. The capacitor takes effectively five times longer to charge (for stabilizing the systems supply voltage) than it does to dump its effective energy and become a load on the electrical system. For systems that are constantly starving for stabilized voltage, a capacitor might not be as good an answer as an alternator upgrade (if it drives) or a battery (if its parked a lot at shows). Finally, if you
