i had a 1992 ford explorer sold that and got a 2002 jetta gls 1.8t.
i noticed in the trunk it has a 12 v power outlet
before i had my amp hooked up to my car battery then ground and everything else needed.
i could do that again but i’d rather see if i could get power from that outlet.
so if i can let me know and how to do it if you could. links ect…
thanks!
I’m new to Subs and Amps. I know the new Eclipse’s come with a built in 10" sub. My question is, is an amp needed to have a good car audio system? What exactly is the purpose of the amp and how much does it help with the sound?
I purchased 2 12” subwoofers, an 2000watt amp, and some tweeters.
I drive an ‘03 Mustang, so is what i bought going to be a good system for my car or do i need something else?
* I have a box and wires already
i am trying to set up my car audio and i want to hook up my rear speakers to my amplifier and sub. any suggestions? thanks.
