hey, i’m thinking about getting the following setup in my car, just wanted to check first that everything will work out, so let me know if it will and what u think of it. keep in mind i dont know alot about car audio. my proposed system is as follows:

208 watt sony head unit with 1 RCA pre out

600 watt audioline 4 channel amp, 100watt x 4 or 300watt x 2, built in cross overs

12" dual 500watt RMS subs

4 6" sony 190watt 2 way speakers (front left, front right, rear left, rear right)

as i said i dont fully understand how stuff works so: the way i understand 4 channel amp means 1 channel for left sub sound, 1 for right sub sound, 1 for left speaker sound and 1 for right speaker sound. so does that work? and will i be able to amp up all 4 6" speakers from that amp as well as the sub, or seeing as the speakers are only 190watts and the head unit is 208 watts, would there be no need for me to amp the speakers cause they’d be getting enough power from the head unit? sorry if thats dumb. that way i could use the 2 channel setup on the amp (2 x 300watts) and thus would that be a better idea? thanks

ps, when u have a sub or two in the boot, and then u get a flat tyre… how do u get at the spare?

cheers
