Im looking to buy a surround sound system for my bedroom. I dont need but maybe 4 little speakers and 1 sub. What would be the best or like a good one to buy for around 100-600?

Look for name brands like JBL, Energy, Infinity and Polk Audio for starter. Stay away from bargain price system they don’t sound good. Demo them at your local retail store and bring your own source of material like a cd to use on the demo. You want clear sound not distorted sound. You can also go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on satellite speakers. Or pick up a copy of the magazine and in the back it list the recommended system. Hope this will help you out.
